This item is always in place, ready for use and can be retrofitted onto most Maxam Metal Products Limited Roof Hatches/scuttles. Maxam Metal Products Limited designed the safety grab handle for safe entry and exit assistance and can be universally mounted on the right or left side of the hatch opening.

When accessing a ladder from the topside down on a roof access hatch or floor access door, Maxam Metal Products Limited recommends the spring loaded ladder safety post. The roof hatch ladder safety post is attached to a roof hatch ladder or a floor door ladder and is easily extended and lowered from above. This ladder safety post enables the user to enter or exit in an upright and balanced position.

Also available from Maxam Metal Products Limited is the side exit roof hatch railing system. The safety rail system is installed around the roof access hatch or floor access door and provides safe exit and entry through roof access hatches/scuttles or floor doors with hatchway ladders or stairways.
